 It was an honor to Cristiano Ronaldo ,  he scored  66 goals in 56 games for club and country. And many of those goals came on soccer's biggest stages . The gala was in Zurich, Switzerland , and after he was chosen for the award he said “ I am deeply moved “ . He was  competing with Messi on the prize , who had won the award each of the last four years . In the end, Messi lost the prize .

Before the ceremony Sepp Blatter – President of FIFA – said something caused him problems with Cristiano Ronaldo , but after the ceremony Ronaldo said “We talked over the telephone and everything was cleared” . 

Also The ceremony has a lot of prize such as : The Coach of the Year , and the women's player of the year . And it had the FIFA First XI for 2013 - a kind of international all-star team- . The Coach of the year was Jupp Heynckes - Bayern Munich manager - , the the women's player of the year was Abby Wambach from U.S .

The players in  the FIFA First XI for 2013 were Manuel Neuer , Philipp Lahm , Sergio Ramos , Thiago Silva, and Dani Alves , Andres Iniesta , Xaxi, Ribery , Ronaldo, Messi , and Sweden's Zlatan Ibrahimovic .

Opinion :
Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world . so he is worth the prize , and he deserve it for the coming years .
