For the Children's Sake, Put Down That Smart Phone__Faten

Summary:

The article"For the Children's Sake, Put Down That Smart Phone"that written by Patti Neighmond, talks about our live where the electronic devices"cell phones"are running a large portion. We know the kids are spending their time on the smart devices. But Dr. Jenny padesky, a pediatrician, noticed that parents spend most of their time on cell phone more than their kids. She made a study on 55 groups of parents and young children.
She discovered in the study that a high percentage of parents used their smart phone during a meal. In her study noticed three boy act and do silly things to get their father attention while the father is typing on his phone. The father just shouted them to stop. Recently, we used to see this life style in many places.
According to Steiner Adair in her book, interviewed 1,000 children between the ages of 4 and 18, asking them about their parents' use of mobile devices. The kids who are asked about their parents have similar answer and mix feeling if "SAD, ANGRY, and LONLEY" to be ignored by your parents that left a bad feeling that make them feel like undesirable. Adair says "we don't know exactly how much these mini moments of disconnect between a parent and child affect the child in the long term". But based on the stories she hears, she suggests that parents think twice before picking up a mobile device when they're with their kids.

Commentary:

In my opinion the smart devices are beautiful and useful revolution, but most of people don't use them in the right way. I believe that the smart devices become a part of our lives and control it. We have to control our selves and limit our using these devices. And parents have to spend time with their kids rather than spending time playing on their devices.
