As a hospitality major student, from this article I learn a lot of US cultural knowledge. US hotel has a lot of different culture for China. Compared to Chinese culture, I think that culture of US hospitality gives people to more sense of relax. They focus on more details and have very interesting strategy which is Chinese hotel do not. For instance, duck parade. Chinese hotel does not focus on feeling of children. They like to use luxury decoration and expensive foods to attract to adults. It is because that Chinese parents sometimes choose hotel does not care about children feeling. Moreover, harboring homeless cat in China is amazing. The hotel manager thinks that the cat will dirty their hotel. I guess that it is a culture problem. However, I consider that Chinese hotel should learn these US points. Do not ever let luxuries become first.
