Summary: What Is High Blood Pressure? What Causes High Blood Pressure?


In the article “What Is High Blood Pressure? What Causes High Blood Pressure?” author Christian Nordqvist introduces what high blood pressure is and why people occur high blood pressure in order to help people to protect high blood pressure. He uses seven aspects to demonstrate it. However, this summary only focuses on a part of what the causes of high blood pressure.  First, Nordgvist says that hypertension has two types, Essential high blood pressure and secondary high blood pressure. Even if the doctor does not identifiable which type patient is, there is also dangerous body. Second, he analyzes that there are 16 factors caused high blood pressure, including age, family history, temperature, ethnic background, obesity/overweight and so on.

Summary: The Effects of High Blood Pressure on the Body



In the essay “The Effects of High Blood Pressure on the Body”, author, Ann Pietrangelo introduces five effects of high blood pressure in the body. Specifically, he believes that blood pressure which links the heart is able to result in various illnesses. First, Pietrangelo maintains that high blood pressure will hurt circulatory system, and then it influences each part of the body received enough oxygenated blood, so that gangrene appeared. Second, Pietrangelo ‘s opinion is that if human’s brain does not have enough and stable oxygen to maintain operation, it can cause chaos of Central Nervous System. Third, he tells that due to high blood pressure causes insufficient support of oxygenated blood, the kidneys cannot efficient deal with bodies’ toxins. Fourth, he thinks that high blood pressure can destroy human sexual ability so that infertility. In the end, when high blood pressure influence function of the kidneys, calcium cannot be absorbed, human’s skeleton will lost hardness. 

 


Conclusion

 

As society and economy develop, material standard of living incessantly improves; however more and more people occur high blood pressure. I think that work stress is a primary reason. On the one hand, due to work stress, people need to save time, so plenty of junk food occurred. At same time, people also do not have time to exercise. On the other hand, a lot of overwork, over drink and smoking burnt body balance. So, as a 21-year-old university student, I am viewpoint that I need to keep a good mood, improve practice and limit junk food in order to avoid high blood pressure.
