CO2 makes up about 70% of the greenhouse gases. which is considered to be one of the greatest causes of global warming.There are many harmful effects. It cause the sea level to rise and many natural disasters to strike.What is more. it disturbs weather patterns. causing droughts. severe storms. hurricanes . People suffer a lot from disasters relevant to global warming. The latest report from the climate panel predicted that the global climate is likely to rise between 3.5 and 8 degrees Fahrenheit if the carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere reaches twice the level of 1750. By 2100, sea levels are likely to rise between 7 to 23 inches, it said, and the changes now underway will continue for centuries to come.And the global warming can cause large amount of harm for life on the earth.All the buildings on the earth from skyscrapers to bungalow will be inundated by the ocean.Also make all the animals even human extinct!It is urgent that immediate and effective actions should be taken right away.

     No one，regardless of race, religion or nationality, can deny that the world we live in is becoming increasingly intolerable because of the effects of global warming. According to many experts, even greater impacts are still on the way.There are numerous causes for this problem. On one hand, human-related emissions of carbon into the atmosphere is causing, and will in the future cause, significant global warming according to the theory. On the other hand, the lack of knowledge about the importance of protecting environment hinders the solving of the problem. First, more trees need to be planted to help improve and beautify the environment. Besides, stricter laws concerning global warming and irresponsible use of fuel resources have to be put into effect and achieved good results. In a word, there is a long way to go before we can take a comfortable world for granted again .  Because from those articles we all know how important for us to protect the environment as the situation entails,everyone of us has responsiblities to protect the planet and ensure the survival of our species. In daily life, try to fulfil the concept of reduce, reuse and recycle as much as one's ability allows and the concept of zero carbon emmission. Using this as these ultimate goals and guidelines, one should try these actions in every means possible and proactively seek and learn better ways to live a green way of life. More importantly, try to use as much green energy sources and products as economic situations allows, especially people in social position, to whom with greater resources lies greater responsibility to use those resources for the greater good.
